Williamson County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association

The WCCDLA gives the criminal defense bar a collective voice in the administration of criminal justice in Williamson County. This voice is heard by Judges, the District Attorney’s Office, and the Commissioner’s Court. Our goal is to promote professionalism, provide members with resources, and protect citizens’ guaranteed Constitutional Rights.

ABOUT WCCDLA

The WCCDLA was originally formed in 2012 by a small group of criminal defense attorneys. Over the years, membership has grown from a small handful to over forty attorneys. Attorneys in the WCCDLA include both trial attorneys as well as appellate attorneys.

Our group has a wide range of experience levels. Attorneys in the group may be licensed 5 years or less, while others may have decades of experience and be Board Certified in Criminal Law. The diversity in the WCCDLA provides members with professional mentorships and collective resources. Only criminal defense attorneys are in our association.

What is the WCCDLA?

The WCCDLA is a group that makes our work-lives easier. We’re in it because together we are stronger. Being in the WCCDLA means you will have access to more resources than you would alone.
